Behind the Image
A good photograph is never really about the camera. It's about the fifteen minutes before it — the conversation, the quiet, the trust that has to exist before anyone shows up as themselves.
I'd rather spend an hour finding the right light than take a hundred photos hoping one works. Discipline over talent. Quality over quantity.
Every detail is a decision — the angle, the distance, the silence between shots. Nothing is left to chance, because the moments that matter rarely are.
